Welcome to Batamera Studio
We are proud to introduce you to a range of specially crafted mosaic artworks created by an Indonesian
artist, Beny Achmadi. The artworks are rich with individually designed textures, harmoniously combined colors, and meticulously arranged and detailed compositions.
After retiring from a long career as an architect in Jakarta, Beny Achmadi pursues his artistic passion by starting his exploration of the boundless world that is mosaic art. From a country that has a long and rich tradition of art, he is surrounded by limitless inspirations of color, pattern, and texture of Indonesian art and cultures. With his experience as an architect, each artwork is created with a deep consideration of how it will contribute to a creation of a warm and unique architectural spatial experience.
The artist combines numerous materials, outside the ceramic itself, to create unique textures and color composition. Indeed, the use of new range of raw materials differentiates Batamera’s works from other mosaic artworks. Natural stones, glass stones, floor tiles, into shape. All are durable elements with minimum maintenance requirements. A strong attention is also given to the color of the filler of the mosaic works.
